The Cape Cod Chronicle has an excellent article looking at how difficult it is to make a Cape Cod League roster after taking a temporary roster spot. The spots on the team open up usually around the beginning of the year when players are still taking part in the CWS, trying out for Team USA, or have a slight injury.
