The AP is reporting that New Orleans will promote Bruce Peddie to head coach to replace Tom Walter who took the job at Wake Forest in the past week. Peddie has been with the school for the past three seasons and has 22 years as an assistant during his coaching career. The decision to hire Peddie will not become official for over a month as the school might end up cutting the entire athletic department due to the financial crisis that the school is facing.
