Alex White- Junior RHP…Ace of the Tar Heels staff. He is 8-4 with a 4.13 ERA
Dustin Ackley- Junior 1b/OF…has a .412 average with 22 homers and 70 RBI….Finalist for Dick Howser Award
Matt Harvey- Sophomore RHP…potential 1st round pick in 2010 MLB Draft…He is 7-2 with a 5.35 ERA
Texas
Brandon Belt- Junior 1B…Top hitter with a .336 average with eight homers and 40 RBI
Chance Ruffin- Sophomore RHP…10-2 with a 3.02 ERA
Kevin Keyes- Sophmore OF….second on the team with a .305 average with 7 homers.
Southern Miss
Brian Dozier- Senior SS- was the top hitter on the team until an injury. He will be back for the CWS according to multiple sources. He is hitting .394 with four hits and 39 RBI
Todd McInnis- RS Sophomore RHP- 2009 C-USA Pitcher of the Year…9-4 with a 3.61 ERA
Collin Cowgill- RS Sophomore Closer- 4-3 with an ERA of 3.32 while picking up 13 saves.
