austinregionalpreviewTexas will be hosting the regional at the newly refurbish UFCU-Disch Falk Field. The last time Texas held a regional at the friendly confines was back in 2006 and Texas will be looking to get back on track in this regional. Joining Texas will be the the two seed Texas State, which is from the Southland Conference where they won the regular season title but lost in the Championship game to Sam Houston State. The three seed will be Boston College who is making their first appearance in the NCAA Tourney in 42 years. They finished the regular season 3rd in the ACC’s Atlantic Division. The 4th seed comes from the Patriot League with the Army Black Knights. They won the Patriot League tournament in a two game sweep over Lafayette to earn the automatic bid.
