Joining Texas will be the the two seed Texas State, which is from the Southland Conference where they won the regular season title but lost in the Championship game to Sam Houston State. The three seed will be Boston College who is making their first appearance in the NCAA Tourney in 42 years. They finished the regular season 3rd in the ACC’s Atlantic Division.
