Just when it started to look like the only interesting division race would be in the SEC West, Florida sent a message to the Georgia Bulldogs that they would not go down without a fight. Georgia hit the road for a series at Ole Miss, and the Rebels rallied to a two games to one series victory after dropping the Friday night game. Florida took advantage of the Georgia series loss, sweeping South Carolina to get within one game of the SEC East lead. LSU sits alone on top of the SEC West after a sweep of Auburn at home. Arkansas took two of three from Tennessee in Knoxville, and the Razorbacks find themselves only a half game back of LSU in the Western Division. Alabama took a 2-1 series victory over Kentucky at home and are now only two games back in the SEC West race. Vanderbilt swept Mississippi State at home to get back to .500 in league play.
