The Austin-American Statesman has an interesting article written by Cedric Golden stating that Texas and Rice should play a weekend series against each other instead of the two home and home games they currently play. They used to play a weekend series about 10 years ago but have stopped due to various scheduling issues with the reduction of games the main cause. The full article can be read by clicking here.
