The Warning Track with Brian Foley checks in today with some of the biggest question marks heading into the weekend’s action.
The Big East squads and a few other conferences started up play on Thursday to avoid having a conflict with the Easter holiday on this Sunday. I find it very odd that one of the schools that didn’t change up their schedule is the College of the Holy Cross who is scheduled to play a doubleheader on Easter Sunday against Bucknell.
The biggest series of this weekend between ranked teams sees Rice heading to East Carolina which will likely decide who wins the Conference USA Regular season title. Rice enters the series without their top two pitchers in Ryan Berry and Mike Ojala. Could one of them be back this weekend? It would be key if at least one of them could make an appearance.
Tennessee is currently on a nine-game losing streak in the SEC can they turn the corner this weekend against Mississippi State?
How will Arkansas handle this weekend’s series against Vanderbilt after beating Arizona State in mid-week games? Can they keep their heads on straight?
I am really interested in the Dartmouth-Brown four game series that will take place in Hanover NH this weekend. I will have a full preview up on Friday.
What are some of your story lines for this weekend?
