St. John’s and Georgetown will get together over this weekend for a three game Big East series. The first two games of the series will be played in Washington DC at Shirley Povich Field while the game on Sunday will take place at new Citi Field in Flushing New York. The game will break the NCAA record for single game attendance as all 42,000 seats sold out in less then 45 minutes during the public offering. The previous record is 40,106 who saw the opening of Petco Park in San Diego when the San Diego State Aztecs played the Houston Cougars.

If any readers of the blog will be in attendance at the event please feel free to shoot me an email by clicking here.
