Brayden Drake, Missouri State, 3B, Sr., Webb City, Mo. (Webb City)
Senior Brayden Drake extended his school record hitting streak to 29 games after hitting .611 with three home runs and 14 RBIs in five Missouri State victories. Drake added two doubles for a 1.222 slugging percentage, reached base two-thirds of the time and scored seven runs. He had multiple RBIs in all five games and at least two hits in four contests. Drake went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs Tuesday against SEMO and added two hits and three RBIs Wednesday versus the Redhawks. On Friday against Bradley, Drake had three hits, including a double and a homer, and four RBIs. He doubled and drove in two runs on Saturday, then went 3-for-4 with a homer, two RBIs and two runs scored on Sunday.

State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week:
Jordan Cooper, Wichita State, RHP, Fr., Berryton, Kan. (Shawnee Heights)
Freshman Jordan Cooper led the Shockers to a win last Sunday against Long Beach State. With the win, the Shockers won the series over the Dirtbags. Cooper earned the victory and pitched his first career complete game and needed just 100 pitches to do it. The nine innings was a new career-high for Cooper. He scattered seven hits in the contest and allowed just an unearned run and added three strikeouts and did not walk anyone. He also helped himself with his defense as he had two putouts and two assists in the game. He became the first Shocker freshman to pitch a nine inning complete game since Mike Pelfrey in 2003. With the win, he improved his record at home to 3-0 with a 0.39 ERA.
