David Roux, OF, Sr., Louisiana College
Louisiana College senior outfielder David Roux ( Denham Springs, LA / DSHS) went 11-for-21 with five home runs and 11 RBIs over five games. Roux added three doubles and scored 10 times. In a three-game series with Schreiner, Roux blasted four home runs.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Tommy Rozell, RHP, Sr., Texas-Tyler
Texas-Tyler senior right-hander Tommy Rozell ( Chandler, TX / Brownsboro HS) struck out 16 batters over 11 innings of work, scattering four hits in victories over Hardin-Simmons and McMurry. Rozell started and got the win against HSU, allowing just one hit over seven innings with 12 strikeouts and just one walk. He struck out four in four innings of relief against McMurry.

Jeremy Macklin, 3B, Sr., Texas Lutheran
Texas Lutheran senior third baseman Jeremy Macklin (Austin, TX / Bowie HS) went 11-for-12 with three home runs, four doubles and 18 RBIs over a record-setting three-game series sweep of Mississippi College. Macklin scored 11 runs, walked three times and also stole a base. School records he broke were runs in a three-game series, RBIs in a three-game series and RBIs in a doubleheader (14). Macklin tied the TLU record for RBIs in a single game with eight. He went 7-for-7 on Saturday.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Michael Johnson, RHP, Jr., Concordia Texas
ConcordiaTexas junior right-hander Michael Johnson ( Bellaire, TX / BHS) set a conference record by striking out 17 batters over seven complete innings in a victory against Texas-Dallas. Johnson, who breaks the old strikeout mark of 15 set by Texas-Tyler’s Brett Holland last season, scattered six hits and allowed two runs. Johnson recorded all three outs himself in three different innings.

HITTERS: Sul Ross State SS Javier Arrieta went 10-for-12 with three homers – including a grand slam – and nine RBIs over three loses. . . . Concordia Texas INF Justin Beasley went 10-for-18 with a homer, eight RBIs and three stolen bases over a 3-1 stretch. . . . Schreiner 2B Ray Martinez went 10-for-13 with two stolen bases over a 3-1 week. . . . Mary Hardin-Baylor OF Joseph Villegas went 7-for-13 with a homer and a triple over a series sweep. . . . Hardin-Simmons OF Matt Roam went 12-for-21 with nine RBIS over five games. . . . East Texas Baptist OF Cody Jones went 10-for-17 with three home runs and nine RBIs over a 3-1 stretch. . . . Texas-Dallas 3B Cody Ross went 8-for-16 with nine RBIs over four games. . . . Mississippi College OF Chase Herrin went 9-for-16 with a triple over four games. . . . LeTourneau 1B Josh Brown had two homers and seven RBIs over five games. . . . Texas-Tyler C Jeremy Harding went 9-for-16 with five RBIS over four games.
PITCHERS: Schreiner RHP Eric Wehmeyer did not allow a run over two relief appearances that spanned 8 1/3 innings. . . . Hardin-Simmons RHP Tim Kriegel allowed two runs with 11 strikeouts in a nine-inning, complete-game effort against Ozarks. . . . Mary Hardin-Baylor RHP Jared Hopper struck out eight b atters over seven innings in a win over LeTourneau. . . . Texas Lutheran RHP Jeremiah Steinert got a win and a save against Mississippi College, allowing one earned run over 6 2/3 innings. . . . East Texas Baptist RHP Jake Atchley allowed just one run over 7 1/3 innings in a win against Sul Ross State.
