It’s week two of CAA baseball. Here’s a quick rundown of the teams in action this weekend.
-Northeastern will hold its annual scrimmage with the Boston Red Sox Saturday at 1 p.m. in Fort Myers. Check out live updates here.
The Huskies will continue their regular season with a doubleheader Sunday against Northwestern in Winter Haven, Fla.
-Delaware will play three games in Charlottesville, VA, facing Fordham twice and Virginia once.
-Undefeated George Mason will take part in the Kennel Club Classic, in Jacksonville, Fla. The Patriots face Connecticut, Ohio State, and North Florida.
-Georgia State plays a three game series against Eastern Michigan.
-Hofstra will travel to North Carolina State for a three game series with the Wolfpack.
-James Madison will host Lafayette for a three game series this weekend.
-Old Dominion hosts St. Joseph’s for a three game series.
-Towson will face three teams (Florida Gulf Goast, Boston College and South Florida) in the Comfort Inn & Suites FGCU Classic, in Fort Myers.
-UNC Wilmington faces Michigan State in a four game series, including a doubleheader Saturday.
-VCU hosts Long Island for a four game series, including a Saturday twinbill.
-William & Mary will face Miami (Ohio) once, and Farleigh Dickinson twice in the Waker Forest Tournament in Winston-Salem, NC.
UNC Wilmington OF Grayson Evans and George Mason second baseman Ryan Soares shared conference player of the week honors. Georgia State’s Ryan Moore was the pitcher of the weekend, while William & Mary outfielder Steven Acure took home Rookie of the Week honors.
