SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. — On Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15, the Seton Hall Pirates baseball team will host the first annual Rawlings Strike Out Cancer Tournament as they welcome NJIT, Iona, and Northeastern to Owen T. Carroll Field on the campus of Seton Hall University. As the sponsor, Rawlings will be donating t-shirts to the four teams, as well as selling them to fans in attendance.

In addition to Rawlings, representatives from Louisville Slugger will also be attending the event raffling off four pink bats autographed by each team, and the American Cancer Society will be on hand with information to help increase cancer awareness.

Prior to and during the games, pledges will be taken for strikeouts by a team of the pledge’s choice, with Seton Hall contributors having the opportunity to sponsor the Pirates for the entire 2009 regular season.
