Home of Lumberjack baseball nears completion in preparation of 2009 season.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The 2009 Lumberjack baseball season is quickly approaching, but there is still plenty of work going on at Jaycees Field as the home of SFA baseball is nearing completion of its construction that will give fans a fresh new vantage point to watch the ‘Jacks in action.

A new 740-seat bleacher system in addition to 148 premium chairback seats are almost completely in place and make up the bulk of the construction; however, the press box still must be put in place as well as completion of the awning that will cover the press box and premium seating.

Plenty of premium season tickets are still available for the season for $125 that will guarantee a seat at each of SFA’s 25 home games this season. For more information or to purchase a season-ticket package contact the SFA ticket office at (936) 468-JACK(5225).

SFA kicks off the season Feb. 21 in Monroe, La., at the Warhawk Classic and opens up the home season on Feb. 24 against Houston.
