Every Sunday until the start of the season, The College Baseball Blog will highlight some of the best articles of the past week. The first article is from Project Prospect writer Lincoln Hamilton who used a rubric to come up with the top college players in the country. The next article is from the LA Times looking at UCLA’s Trevor Bauer who will be 17 years old during his first college season in 2009. He actually decided to skip his final half of his senior year of high school to become a part of the Bruins squad. The Boston Globe also put out an article about the Scouting department of the Boston Red Sox. It gives you some great insights into how difficult it is to be in the scouting business. SEBaseball.com has started to look at many teams from around the nation with North Carolina starting off the feature. The final article of the week is that we finished our Top 50 players in the nation.
