The Victoria Generals, the new summer collegiate league team in Victoria, Texas, have added two more players for the ’09 season. Head Coach Chris Clemons will have two players from Yale on his roster this summer, Zach Tobolowsky, a middle infielder from Dallas, Texas, and Andrew Moore a corner outfielder from Houston.

Zach Tobolowsky played four years at Greenhill school in Dallas where he garner All-District Team his Senior year. He’s played SS his entire life and Yale is transitioning him to 2B. Yale’s Assistant Coach Tucker Frawley said “Zach will more than likely hit in the one or two hole for us, and I’m leaning toward the
two-hole because of his ability to use the whole field exceptionally well. I’m confident that the kid can play anywhere on the field for you because he’s probably the best athlete we have on the team- throw him in CF, RF, LF, 3B, SS, or 2B and you wont have to worry about him at all. He runs well and is a gamer.”

Joining him in Victoria this summer is Andrew Moore a corner outfielder from Houston. Frawley said that Andrew will more than likely be their four-hitter this coming year emphasizing that “… he can HIT!” Frawley also added that “there’s no doubt in my mind he will have a breakout year as he came back to school this fall with about 10 more lbs of muscle.”
