Gathering all those press releases with one or two signings and then posting them here in this article. Meade Tenth Player to sign with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
exas A&M-Corpus Christi baseball head coach Scott Malone announced the tenth member of its 2009 recruiting class as Josh Meade has signed to join the Islanders.
Meade is a 6’0” 195-pound catcher/outfielder from Hayward High School in Hayward, Wisc. As a junior, Meade, who has started for the varsity since his freshman season, hit .458 with eight home runs and 46 runs batted in. He has twice been named all-conference and all-district as a catcher and was chosen to participate in the Perfect Game National Showcase. During the summer, Meade plays for the Midwest Blazers. Ole Miss Announce Signing Of JUCO Standouts Callender, Hamblin
OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss baseball program added a pair of junior college standouts with the signing of right-handed pitcher Eric Callender and catcher Miles Hamblin, Rebel head coach Mike Bianco announced on Tuesday.
Callender and Hamblin are the most recent announced signees for the Rebels, joining right-handed pitcher David Renfroe as a part of the 2009 signing class. The duo will be eligible to compete for the Rebels beginning in the 2009-10 academic year. FULL STORY
Loyola Marymount Add to Recruiting Class
LMU baseball Head Coach Jason Gill announced an addition to his recruiting class, which was published early last week, releasing the signing of Tyler Eppler (C, Bear Creek High School). Eppler joins an already strong recruiting class that features Bryan Berglund (RHP, Royal High School), Matt Lowenstein (SS/OF, Chino Hills High School) and Joel Licon (INF, Diamond Ranch High School). Louisville Baseball Inks 10th Signee of 2009 Recruiting Class
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville baseball head coach Dan McDonnell announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Andy Flett to a National Letter-of-Intent on Friday increasing the Cards’ 2009 recruiting class to 10.
The latest signee joins outfielder Jarred Clarkson (Shelbyville, Ky.), catcher J.J. Ethel (Phoenix, Ariz.), outfielder Drew Fitzpatrick (Warren, Ohio), shortstop Kyle Grieshaber (Chesterfield, Mo.), right-handed pitcher Matthew Koch (Cherokee, Iowa), right-handed pitcher Curtis McCombs (Louisville, Ky.), first baseman Mike Morrison (Fort Wayne, Ind.), third-baseman Cade Stallings (Knoxville, Tenn.) and shortstop Jason Thompson (Germantown, Tenn.), who were announced last week. Memphis Baseball Wraps up Early Signing Period with Collierville’s John Jordan
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball program rounded out the 2008-09 early signing period by signing Collierville middle infielder John Jordan Tiger head coach Daron Schoenrock announced today.

Oregon State Baseball Signs Breck Ashdown To National Letter Of Intent
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State baseball head coach Pat Casey announced Thursday that a 10th player, Breck Ashdown, has signed a National Letter Of Intent to join the Beavers for the 2010 season.
Ashdown, from Tucson’s Catalina Foothill High School, is the fifth player signed by the Beavers this fall who can play the infield. The 6-foot-5 first baseman/pitcher hit .422 as a junior with 22 RBI, 10 doubles, three triples and four home runs, earning 4A Sonoran League First-Team honors. He saw 11 innings on the hill last season, posting 15 strikeouts while not allowing an earned run. As a sophomore, he batted .339 with 20 RBI, two doubles, a triple and two home runs. FULL STORY
University of Texas Baseball inks transfer for 2010 season
AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Longhorns inked a right-handed pitcher to join the squad for the 2010 season, head coach Augie Garrido announced on Wednesday. Jacob Cowan, a former pitcher at the University of Virginia, will join the Longhorns after he pitches for San Jacinto College in 2009.
“Jake Cowan is someone that Coach (Skip) Johnson thinks should be able to come in and compete for a weekend spot next year,” UT associate head coach Tommy Harmon said. “He pitches between 88-92 miles-per-hour and commands his breaking ball and changeup with the ability to throw all his pitches for strikes.” FULL STORY
STEVE KITTRELL ADDS THREE TO EARLY SIGNING CLASS
MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama baseball head coach Steve Kittrell announced the signing of three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent Thursday. The Jags signed two right-handed pitchers and an outfielder for the 2010 season. The early signing class is now complete with six junior college players and one high school senior. FULL STORY
