The Rice baseball program will hold its final exhibition of the fall season on Saturday (Nov. 1) at 1 pm at Reckling Park. Admission is free for the 14-inning exhibition against longtime rival McNeese State.

Not only is it the last chance to get a sneak peek of the 2009 Rice baseball team, head coach Wayne Graham will speak about the conclusion of the fall training period and provide an outlook for the upcoming season. The Owl players will introduce themselves to the fans in attendance.

The RBI Club, the Sports Interest Group of the Rice Athletics Fund that provides people a direct opportunity to support the Rice Owls baseball team, will host a pregame barbeque before the exhibition. The cookout begins at 11:30 am in Reckling Park between the right field stands and batting cage. Saturday’s barbeque is a great opportunity to meet RBI Club members and join the support organization.
