While the Phillies may have finally closed out Major League Baseball’s World Series Wednesday night, Louisiana Tech has three more Fall World Series games to play.
Tuesday night, the White team finally earned a spot in the win column and closed the gap on Blue 3-1.
Freshman Mike Jefferson picked up the win for the White after falling behind Blue 4-0 before rallying for the 10-4 win. Jefferson so far is having a tremendous fall season with an ERA of 1.17.
Senior Chris Kersten continued his Fall dominance going 3-for-5 on the night and is now batting .611 for the entire Fall World Series for the Blue team.
Tech returns to the field Friday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m. and will finish the final two games of the series Saturday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 2, at times of 6 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
