The Nevada Wolfpack has put out their 2009 baseball schedule. They will open the season on February 20th with a doubleheader against Gonzaga and Missouri in the Phoenix Tournament at Grand Canyon College. They will play Gonzaga on Saturday and Missouri on Sunday to round out the tournament. The following weekend, they will head to San Diego to take part in another tournament. They will face San Diego State, Kansas State, and the University of San Diego twice.
The Wolfpack will open up the home schedule on March 6th when they play Washington for the first of three games against the Huskies. The Oregon Ducks come to town on the next weekend to start a four game set against the Wolfpack. Nevada will open up the conference schedule on April 3rd when they head to Louisiana Tech. They will also visit conference opponents Fresno State and San Jose State. The home conference opener is against Hawaii on April 9th. New Mexico State and Sacramento State will also visit Reno in conference play.
