Head Coach Dave Schrage- Notre Dame
Head Coach Dave Schrage and the Irish of Notre Dame have released their 2009 Schedule. They will open their 2009 campaign on February 20th in the Big East/Big Ten Challenge. They will open the tournament playing Ohio State followed by Illinois and Purdue. They will also take part in three other tournaments with with one in Mesa AZ, Houston TX, and San Antonio TX to complete the schedule for the first four weekends The Irish will take on Dayton, Gonzaga, and Creighton in Arizona while in Houston they will play Oral Roberts, Washington State, and Rice.
The Irish will open the home schedule on March 17th when they host Ball State. They will open the conference schedule at home with a three game series against Seton Hall on March 20th. They will also host Big East opponents Villanova, West Virginia, UConn, and South Florida. The first conference road series will take place on March 27th when they travel to Pittsburgh. They will also travel to face conference opponents in Cincinnati, Louisville, and St. John’s.
