Baseball America writer Aaron Fitt has put out his rankings of the Top 25 Recruiting Classes for 2009. It is led by Arizona State even though they lost seven recruits to the MLB draft headlined by Eric Hosmer. Fitt states that Arizona State has the best group of transfers and freshmen to replace the likes of Brett Wallace and Ike Davis. The top five is rounded out by Vanderbilt, Georgia, Kentucky, and Florida. The biggest shocks in the top 25 are the Oregon Ducks ranked in the tenth spot and Duke coming in at 25th only one spot below Florida State. The full article from Baseball America is available here.
