The Cape Cod Baseball League has put out press releases for the rest of the awards for the season. The MVP of the league was AJ Pollock of Notre Dame. He ended up finishing second in the league in batting average while leading the league in Slugging Percentage. Jimmy Cesario of Houston ended up winning the Batting title before signing a MLB deal with the Colorado Rockies. CBUAO umpire (covers ACC and Big East) Harry Greer grabbed the Curly Clement Award given to the Best Umpire in the CCBL. UNC’s Marc Fleury and FSU’s Jason Stidham were Co-Playoff MVP’s after leading Harwich to the title.
