2009 College Baseball Schedules: Youngstown State and Yale

We recently came across the 2009 tentative schedules for the Youngstown State Penguins and the Yale Bulldogs. Youngstown State will open the season against CWS finalist Georgia on Feb. 20th-22th in a three game set. They will also play VMI (2 games), Virginia Tech (1 game), Towson (2 games), James Madison (2 games), and Marshall (3 games) before opening play in the Horizon League. They will play home and home series against each conference member before ending the season with an out of conference series against Georgia State at Youngstown before playing in the Horizon League tourney in Lorain OH. The Yale Bulldogs wil open the season on March 8th when they head down to Baltimore MD to play a split doubleheader against Wagner and UMBC. They will continue the roadtrip down to Davidson, Richmond, and Towson. They will then head up to Worcester MA to take on Holy Cross in a brief two game set. They will open the Ivy League schedule with doubleheaders at Princeton and Cornell. They will host Penn and Columbia in the following weekend. They will play a four game set in Cambridge against Harvard before ending the season with a home and home series against the Brown Bears. The full schedule is available here.
