Bryan Police Department battles Bryan Fire Department in Annual Guns and Hoses Game .
Bryan-College Station, TX (July 29, 2008) –
After defeating their College Station Police and Fire Department counterparts, the Bryan Police Station battled the Bryan Fire Station in the annual Guns and Hoses game. The game was held at the Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark in Bryan, home of the Brazos Valley Bombers.
Excitement was in the air at the ballpark, as families and friends of the local county officers came to enjoy the baseball game. The game was a blaze, but the Fire Department hosed down the Police Department for the victory, by a score of 13-3. The Fire Department was awarded the Shield Trophy after their hard work earned them the Guns and Hoses Championship and all fans left the stadium with a memorable experience.
