Tim Fedroff of North Carolina was selected in the seventh round by the Cleveland Indians in this past year’s draft and faces a tough decision on whether to return to UNC or sign before August 15th. He led the team in home runs (12), slugging percentage (642), total bases (183), at-bats (285) and triples (5), while finishing a close second on the club in batting average (.404), hits (115), doubles (22), RBI (71) and stolen bases (14-for-17). If he decided to return to the UNC squad for his junior season, it would give the Tar Heels two of the top hitters in the country as he would join junior to be Dustin Ackley in the lineup.
