Texas A&M 13 Houston 5

COLLEGE STATION, Texas- Kyle Colligan homered twice and Darby Brown drove in four runs to lead No. 9 Texas A&M to the NCAA College Station Regional title with a 13-5 victory over Houston Monday evening before 3,888 fans at Olsen Field.

The regional crown is the fifth in school history and moves A&M (46-17) into a best-of-three Super Regional matchup with Rice next weekend in Houston. It also marked the first time in school history that the Aggies have won back-to-back NCAA Regional titles, claiming victories in 1993, 1999, 2004 and 2007.

Texas A&M would get all the offense it would need in the first two frames. Following a long leadoff home run by Colligan in the bottom of the first, the Aggies would score seven times in the second to open up an 8-2 lead.
