Our buddies over at Gotham Baseball Magazine have put out their weekly article about the Greater New York area baseball programs. The team of the week is Army after they took three out of four games against the Naval Academy over the weekend. The Beast of the week was Chris Simmons of Army who had a pair of three hit games and hit a homer in the week. The Pitcher of the week was George Brown of St. John’s who moved his record to 7-0 after pitching seven scoreless innings against UConn in a 10-5 victory. The full article is available here.
