With the tying run at the plate, Mike Hart completed his third game of the season with four pitches, striking out Jacob Perales to retire the game and give the Texas State Bobcats a 4-2 success over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Islanders walked seven Bobcats and muddled through four pitchers to facilitate the defeat and with the loss, the visiting foe drops to 5-5 in Southland Conference action.
