ATLANTA, Ga. — Luke Murton hit his first two home runs of the season and team captain Brad Feltes added a grand slam to lead Georgia Tech to a 12-1 victory over cross-town rivals Georgia State.
Starting pitcher Deck McGuire moved to 4-0 on the season and helped the Yellow Jackets improve to 18-5 (5-4 ACC). Adam Knight took the loss for the Panthers, which fell to 14-8.
Georgia Tech takes on Alabama State at 6pm Wednesday at Russ Chandler Stadium in Atlanta. Georgia State travels south to Claude Smith Field in Macon to take on Mercer at 6pm Wednesday.
