In an early season battle between two of the elite teams of the BIG 12, Missouri takes care of Baylor in 3 straight games. The pitching staff for Missouri only gave up 4 hits and no runs in the first two games. In today’s game Sophomore Pitcher Kyle Gibson allowed two unearned runs on 4 hits while striking out 9 in a shorten game due to the run rule.
Seniors Jacob Priday and Lee Fischer led the way for the Tigers, each driving home three runs and collecting two hits apiece. Sophomore Greg Folgia went 3-for-5 on the day with an RBI and a run scored from the leadoff spot and junior Kyle mach was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI on the day.
