ATLANTA, Ga. — Sophomore relief pitcher Andrew Robinson threw 4 scoreless innings to help Georgia Tech maintain a 5-4 victory over the Duke Blue Devils. Jeff Rowland, Charlie Blackmon, and Derek Dietrich added two hits each to lead the Yellow Jackets’ offensive attack.

Georgia Tech was aided by 3 costly Duke errors in the third inning, leading to 4 Yellow Jacket runs. Duke pitcher Andrew Wolcott (2-1) took the loss despite giving up only 2 earned runs. David Duncan earned the win for Georgia Tech and improves to 3-0.

Georgia Tech (16-4, 4-3 ACC) faces Duke (18-4, 3-4 ACC) again Saturday at 2pm. Junior RHP Eddie Burns (2-1, 2.38) takes the mound for the Yellow Jackets; sophomore RHP Will Currier (2-2, 4.95) will take the mound for the Blue Devils.
