First-place votes: Lewis-Clark State 11, Lee 7, Lubbock Christian 2

Mike Guerrero#1 Lewis-Clark State swept three games against The College of Idaho, and three more against Corban. The Warriors have now won 15 straight, and this streak includes two wins over Division I teams. They host a four-game series with a good British Columbia team this weekend. Mike Guerrero pitched a complete-game shutout against The College of Idaho; his record is now 4-0, 0.84 ERA.

#2 Lee swept three games against #22 Southern Polytechnic, and defeated #6 Trevecca Nazarene 7-2. Pablo Lopez pitched a complete game against #6 Trevecca Nazarene, held the Trojans to four hits. The Flames have won 27 straight. They play Tennessee Temple and Reinhardt this week.

#3 Lubbock Christian swept three games against Rogers State. Will Stramp now has ten home runs for the Chaparrals. They have won 18 straight. They host Oklahoma Christian this weekend. They have a 1 ½ game lead over #5 Oklahoma City in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings, and a two-game lead over #9 Wayland Baptist.

Stephen Gillette #4 Azusa Pacific lost 2-0 in midweek to Cal Baptist; five Lancer pitchers combined to hold the Cougars to four hits, and the winning run came from a home run by Robert Lundy. The Cougars then split a double-header with #23 Biola. They nearly got swept; It took a three-run home run by Stephen Gillette with two out in the top of the ninth to give the Cougars a 7-4 win; they trailed 4-2 going into the ninth. They won a pair of games at Division II Dixie State on Monday and Tuesday. In the first game at Dixie State (score: 16-8), The Cougars tied an NAIA record by hitting 13 doubles. The Cougars play at Cal State San Marcos on Friday.

Azusa Pacific’s lead in the Golden State Athletic Conference over #15 Fresno Pacific is down to one game. The Sunbirds defeated The Master’s, and split with San Diego Christian. They swept a double-header against Simpson on Tuesday, and host Patten on Wednesday and Thursday.

#5 Oklahoma City swept Iowa Wesleyan, won two of three against U. of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, and won three more against Hastings (NE). They play Northwestern Oklahoma State Thursday and Saturday.

#6 Trevecca Nazarene defeated #9 Tennessee Wesleyan 12-0 (8 innings) last Wednesday; Ben Johnson got a two-hit complete game. The Trojans won two of three against Martin Methodist, lost to #2 Lee, and lost both games of a double-header to #19 Auburn-Montgomery. They host Crichton this weekend.

#7 Spring Arbor had four games cancelled this week. They play Saint Francis (Fort Wayne, IN) Thursday and Saturday.

#8 U. of Mobile swept three games against McKendree. In the first game, Jesse Luker pitched a one-hit, seven-inning shutout, struck out ten. The Rams play Loyola-New Orleans this weekend.

#9 Tennessee Wesleyan swept Virginia Intermont on Monday, and defeated Cumberland 7-5 on Tuesday. They play at Montreat on Saturday.

#9 Wayland Baptist lost two out of three to Texas Wesleyan, then swept three against Oklahoma Christian. They host Rogers State on Thursday and Friday.
