The College Baseball Blog and StatStud.com have teamed up this season to bring a weekly award for the top players in the last week. We will select one pitcher and hitter every week throughout the regular season. Shooter Hunt of Tulane is our choice for Pitcher of the Week after a great performance against UC-Irvine. Mike Sheridan had a strong week as he led the William and Mary Tribe to a 4-1 record with the loss coming to North Carolina.
Shooter Hunt of Tulane pitched seven shutout innings against UC-Irvine on Friday to led the Green Wave to a 2-0 victory over the nationally ranked Anteaters. Hunt pitched seven innings while allowing only one hit and three walks as he struck out ten out of the 26 batters. His record now stands at 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA in three starts with 19 innings pitched.
William and Mary first baseman Michael Sheridan had a big week as he led the Tribe to a 4-1 record with victories over George Washington and a three game conference opening sweep over Hofstra. He hit .710 (12-17) with 10 RBI, nine runs scored, and two homers on the week. Sheridan is now leading William and Mary in hitting on the season with a .582 batting average with six homers and 31 RBI in the first 14 games of the season. He also has a slugging percentage of 1.073 which is among the best in the country.

I am going to be a little bias but Brandon Belt going for 12-23 with 12 RBIs is a dang good week.
12-17 > 12-23
We all know Texas gets a ton of press and William and Mary never gets any LOL
I notice he did go for 2-4 against North Carolina
Good job.
