Arkansas State surprised Ole Miss on Wednesday as they went into Swayze Field and knocked off the Rebels by a score of 7-5. The Rebels are currently ranked number 2 in the nation by the NCBWA and heading into a big series against the TCU Horned Frogs but forgot to show up on Wednesday evening as they committed four errors. Ryan Hudgins of Arkansas State went 3-5 with 2 RBI to lead the Indians to the upset victory. The pitching staff for the Indians gave up one run over the final six innings as they were able to hold the Rebels in check.
