The Omaha World-Herald is reporting that a committee to review whether to build a new stadium in Omaha has past the first major hurdle. The seven member committee decided on some parking lots near the Qwest Center in Omaha to be the place where the new stadium would be built. They looked at renovating Rosenblatt Stadium but say that it is not possible due to logistics which will come out in the coming weeks. The full report is available here.
