The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) has announced their 2008 Preseason Poll and Team. The Preseason poll is led by defending conference champion Fresno State who received six out of seven first place votes with Louisiana Tech getting the other vote. Fresno State outfielder Steve Susdorf and pitcher Clayton Allison were named the Preseason Player and Pitcher of the Year respectively. The full release from the WAC is available here.
