Central Florida held a 3-2 lead in the middle of the fourth inning of its Conference USA Baseball Tournament game before top-seeded Rice came alive. The second-ranked Owls scored five in the bottom of the fourth and went on to claim a 16-6 decision in a game ended by the league’s 10-run rule. C-USA Freshman of the Year Ryan Berry improved to 10-2 on the mound with the win.
