HATTIESBURG — It’s not like Michael and James Ewing never had spent any time away from one another.
After all, James beat his brother into the world by five minutes.
But in the fall of 2006, James headed north from their home in Beaumont, Texas, to Arkansas, while Michael traveled east to Mississippi.
But after being separated by nearly 575 miles for the better part of a year, the brothers were reunited on the Southern Miss baseball diamond this fall, when James left the University of Arkansas to join his twin as a Golden Eagle.
