After posting its first-ever three-game sweep at Tulane, the Houston Cougars are back in the national rankings. Houston appeared at No. 28 in this week’s Collegiate Baseball poll, becoming the fifth different Conference USA school to be ranked this season. The Cougars sit alone in second place in the conference standings, trailing cross-town rival Rice. The Owls, who were 4-0 last week, including a win over No. 6 Texas, have moved up to No. 3 in the national polls. The entire notebook can be viewed here.
