Florida State 5 UNC 4

The Florida State Seminoles took the second game of their weekend series with North Carolina to clinch another series victory. FSU used a two run homer from Jack Rye in the fifth inning which turned out to be the winning run. Travis Burge and Danny Rosen pitched the final three innings to give the Noles their 12th victory on the season.

Virginia 3 Clemson 0

Matt Packer, Michael Schwimer, Casey Lambert combined on a four hit shutout over Clemson at Doug Kingsmore Stadium to clinch the series victory for the Cavs. Beau Seabury went 2-4 with an RBI to lead the Cavs offense while Taylor Harbin was the only Tiger with multiple hits in the game.

Georgia Tech 4 NC State 3

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets picked up another one run victory over NC State on Saturday for the second straight day. Danny Payne hit a run scoring single in the sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie and lead the Jackets to the win. The Wolfpack offense was held in check by the GT pitching as they struck out 17 batters in the game.

Duke 11 Maryland 1

Tony Bajoczky continued his strong pitching with a complete game victory over the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday. The offensive star for Duke was Alexander Hassan who went 2-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI in the win.

Miami 4 VT 3

The Miami Hurricanes clinched a series victory with a tough 4-3 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies. Mark Sobolewski led the offensive attack with two hits and a homer.
