The Northeastern Huskies used five homers to get a 9-3 victory over James Madison in Game 2 of the CAA conference showdown. Jeff Thomson picked up the victory for Northeastern by working 7.2 innings while giving up three runs to up his record to 3-2 on the season. James Madison starter Justin Wood only lasted 4.0 innings while giving up six runs on nine hits. Northeastern was led by Frank Pesanello went 3-4 with two runs and three RBIs which all came on his two homers. The teams will play the final game of their three game set at 1 pm Sunday where James Madison will try to salvage a game.
