The Clemson Tigers scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to knock off the Georgia Bulldogs 11-10 in non-conference action. Addison Johnson hit a line drive with two outs to left field with the winning run on second in DJ Mitchell. Matt Cerione dove for the ball and flipped over. As he was getting up to show that he made the catch, the ball popped loose and the winning run scored. Joshua Fields picked up his fifth loss of the season as he continues to struggle with a 1-5 record and an ERA of 5.91. Stephen Clyne picked up the win by getting the final out in the top of the ninth. His record goes to 4-0. Georgia will head to Ole Miss on Thursday while Clemson stays home to host Virginia Tech.
