The Boston College Eagles knocked off Holy Cross 10-7 in non-conference action on Thursday. Boston College was led on offense by Michael Belfiore who hit a homer run in the top of the eighth to set up the final scoreline. Geoff Oxley got his first collegiate victory by throwing three scoreless innings. Dan Houston picked up the save by working a scoreless ninth. The Eagles will be back in action on Friday when they host NC State in the home opener at Shea Field. Holy Cross will host Navy on Saturday in the first Patriot league contest for both schools.
