Florida State 10 Boston College 3
The Florida State Seminoles scored six runs in the second inning to make a 2-0 deficit into a 6-2 lead. The Seminoles continued to shut down the BC Eagles bats in key situations. Michael Hyde started the game for the Seminoles and last seven innings while only giving up two runs and really scattered eight hits. His curveball seemed to be hanging in the zone but the Eagles were never able to take advantage. Hyde better get his breaking ball working real soon or some of the better hitting teams in the ACC are going to light him up. Tony Sanchez went 2-3 to lead the Eagles offense. The teams close the series out tomorrow when Ryan Strauss faces likely Eagle starter Terry Doyle.
