East Tennessee State bounced back today with a 5-3 victory in 13 innings over The Citadel. The Bucs were able to scratch across two runs in the 13th inning to pull out the victory. The Citadel got two runners on in the 13th but were unable to get any of them across against reliever Caleb Glafenhein who did give up the two tying runs in the bottom of the ninth to force the game to extra frames. Glafenhein pitched six innings while only giving up those two runs. Link Saunders pitched 2.0 innings while giving up the winning runs and getting his first loss of the season. Justin Aughey led the Bucs with three hits and two RBI’s. The Citadel was led on offense by Matt Arnold who hit the big homerun to start the rally in the ninth inning.
