The Jacksonville Dolphins continued their strong start to the season tonight by picking up a 9-6 victory over the Rattlers of FAMU. Mike McCallister had a two run single in the bottom of the eighth to give the Dolphins the lead for good. McCallister also picked up three hits on the evening. Justin Young picked up the victory with two shutout innings of relief. Chad Smith picked up the loss for the Rattlers by letting up five runs in 2.2 innings of work. Daryll Evans went 3-5 for the Rattlers with two runs scored in the losing effort. Jacksonville will be back in action next Tuesday with Georgia Southern. FAMU will be hosting Navy this weekend for three games.
