The Patten Lions knocked off the Saint Mary’s Gaels on Tuesday by a score of 13-11 in seven innings due to darkness. The Gaels used nine pitchers in the game and three of them did not record an out but gave up 3 runs a piece. It looks from the box score that Saint Mary’s was using this game to test out some of their younger pitchers. Saint Mary’s was led by Kyle Jensen who went 3-4 with three RBI and Anthony Alliotti who went 2-3 with a run batted in.

I wanted to go to the Houston Astro tourney but my funds are low and thus I really can’t afford it. Maybe next year I can make it down there.
