Why is Campbell so low in this poll. They are ranked #25 in the BA poll..
I like Campbell but its rather surprising to me they are ranked in BA. It was just last week they lost 2 of 3 at home to Radford. The reason they are ranked so low is because they entered the poll 2 weeks ago and dropped out with Radford series loss but got back in with road sweep at Presbyterian. In my opinion you can compare them kinda to Lamar. Both have put up a lot of wins but have played weak schedules. According to warrennolan.com Campbell is #35 which is hard to understand when their best wins are 2 vs bad ECU team and one over Duke. It’s still early for RPIs but they should start to correct themselves soon.
Campbell hasn’t played anybody, much less beaten anybody. 1 game against the top 50; 12-1 vs 200+ RPI….Plenty of good teams in the region, shouldn’t be rewarded for playing cupcakes.
What happened to my critic jbro17?
I still do not understand why you have not included Belmont and or Tennessee Tech in the top 25. Belmont leads the OVC (10-2) and are 23-7 overall and receive votes every week in the major Ncaa baseball polls. They have the best ERA by far in the conference and their pitching is ranked 7th in the county in strike outs to walk ratio. Austin Peay is a good team but it is crazy to have them ranked 7th and not have Belmont or Tn Tech in the top 25.
Belmont has been right at top of list seems like most weeks but someone else ends up getting in. Honestly after looking at their schedule and results the only time i can see where they could and maybe should have joined was after the series win at UGA. Other than that they have no really good weeks.
And for Tennessee Tech they just recently were added to bubble list and that was because of the 14 wins in row. Go look at the 14 wins!!! During the win streak they did not beat a team that currently has more than 9 wins. Seriously go look. While 14 wins in a row is nice their first good weekend was last weekend winning 2 of 3 at Austin Peay. So i want to see them do more against good teams.
